2nd Annual Big Bog “Qinaqtaq” Traditional Games

Grades: 7 – 12 (Invitation only)

Community members are warmly invited to come together and support youth at the Big Bob Traditional Games.

These games are more than competition. They are a reflection of Iñupiat values, strength, resilience, respect, and connection to one another. Athletes carry these teachings as they compete, honoring those who came before them and inspiring those who will follow.

Community presence matters. When people show up, youth feel supported, encouraged, and proud to represent their families and villages. Whether attending to watch, cheer, or simply stand in support, participation helps keep traditions strong.

This is a FREE community event. All are welcome.
